Joined Mobile Producing Nigeria Unlimited as a Mooring Master. The main duties were berthing and loading of VLCC crude oil tankers from the single point mooring loading berths (SPMs), procurement of materials and spare parts, supervision of the line handling and SPM maintenance boats and the crew.

The terminal aspect of the job involved working in conjunction with the Terminal Operations to ensure the exportation of crude oil and condensate are exported in consonance with the government regulations.

Responsibilities also included the terminal marine duties, marine safety, ship inspections, ports statistics, coordination of export documents and stemming of tankers with our Mobile Sales and Transportation group for sales of our products. Others are the environmental and anti pollution protection awareness. Provide management with professional advice and recommendations on marine related issues.
